Long committed to environmental management, Lanz Group has achieved ISO 14001 Accreditation. Receiving accreditation in this world-renown standard will enable Lanz Group to further reduce its carbon footprint. Lanz Group formally received ISO 14001 accreditation on 15 February 2013.
Managing Director of Lanz Group, Douglas Hepsworth, spoke of his company’s dedication to the environment and to professionalism:
“Ever since we began offering waste management solutions in 1943, we have been focused on delivering a quality professional service for our customers. We’re still focused on that same standard of professionalism today – and are proud of having successfully passed the rigours of ISO14001 accreditation.”
About ISO 14001
ISO 14001 Environmental Management enables businesses to develop and execute environmentally friendly management systems geared to reduce your environmental impact and to improve efficiencies within the company.
To achieve this highly regarded accreditation, Lanz Group worked closely with NatWest Mentor Services. The detailed process took a number of months to complete and required a thorough review and audit of some of the environmental management systems within Lanz Group.
